Is America at War? By Mitch Lewis

Thank God for American Patriots standing for the American way while Americans enjoy the perks of freedom paid for by these Patriots.
Hi,Twana! This is excellent as usual!

We cannot make decisions about this war based on fatigue, anxiety or self-interest. The stakes are too high for that. If the news is disturbing, don’t look at it until you can read it with your head instead of your gut. Eventually, find the courage to read beyond the “if it bleeds it leads” headlines. Choose to base your thinking on your intellect and will instead of on your weariness or fear. Choose to look beyond your own needs to the needs our nation and our world. As a nation, choose whatever strategy or course of action you think best achieves the greatest good and the members of the armed forces will execute it.

Be courageous; the members of the armed forces that serve you are more courageous still. You cannot ask too much from them. They will march through hell if you are behind them.

Words for the voter to live by and for the elected representatives to employ every time they get a message from the America last crowd..

I am so thankful for the patriots who stand firm for our troops and our countries founding. Thank you, you are a patriot who does this work.

Thanks Elizabeth. You always encourage me. That's a good thing.

True words Judge. Anyone receiving the freedom and liberty of our country should hold his words in high regard and do their part and correctly. Those that do that are the true patriots of our country.

I served with a bunch of courageous men ( most of us were under 25 ) back in the KOREAN WAR , but we had nothing on this group of brave warriors , they make me proud to be an AMERICAN !!
Yes, our Armed Forces will, and DO, walk through hell for us. The very least we can do is support them. You don't have to have money - write a letter dang it! When you see them THANK THEM. If you aren't doing something - anything to show your support (and I imagine all those who have commented her do) then get off your lazy fannies and DO SOMETHING.

Thanks. It makes me so proud to see so many thinking of our troops. As Tanker said, You dont have to have money. Hang a fag, send a card, anything. Most of the men/women over there only fear one thing....being forgotten.
"but we had nothing on this group of brave warriors , they make me proud to be an AMERICAN !"
They do make me proud to be an American too Joez. We are blessed with an abundance of these honorable men and women who serve with great integrity and who know and appreciate what our country is about. You too fit in that category Joez...You are also a men of valor who 'wanted to' and 'did' fight for our country and to help others receive liberty.
Thank you,Twana! I knew that you would like my comment.
"When you see them THANK THEM"
I know so many people feel a little shy about going up to and telling our service men and women 'thank you' and I truly understand that. Sometimes I get in this funky shy mood, but I've learned even in those moods - forge forward and "Thank Them", "Him, Her" where ever you see them.

I used to think I'd be bugging them - but I've found that not to be true. They do - every single one I've Thanked, truly appreciated it. And they tell me so. Thank them at Airport, the grocery store, at work, at a stop light, at the restaurant - heck pay their tab if you can, or by them a virgin strawberry slushy drink (from your kids of course-if you have some with you) the kids get real excited when they get to Thank the troops too. With kids giving a thanksgiving drink or paying the dinner bill, always do that in the open, Our troops love kids and their interaction with the kids has a lasting impression that plays a big part in the kids life. They will remember the appreciation they received from our brave and honorable troops and that will play into a lifetime of support for all of our men and women now, and to come.

Well I went off into one of my thoughts there. I guess I need to post on different ways to contribute and supporting our troops. LOL
"Most of the men/women over there only fear one thing....being forgotten."
I read somewhere that some of ours are feeling forgotten. That hurt my heart so bad for them to feel that way, but I can definitely understand it. That part of the world - we can only imagine, yet these men know it and are living it. Imagine being in one the darkest places in the world with no conveniences, no communication with those you love and hold most dear in your heart....But the good news is now, they are getting mail and packages. They are getting the stuff they need. They are getting love from home.

They should never be made to feel they are forgotten. We'll just have to do all we can to make sure that doesn't happen again.

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for this and EVERYTHING!,Twana!!

Excellent post,AI.It is really sad to think that the graffiti does

indeed have some truth behind it,it's enough to make Ya sick.

But from My end,as well as everyone else commenting here,We will

never forget, and will always be as supportive as we can,if just one more

troop gets a morale boost,it is well worth it.
